In-home Prenatal Consultation* $90 ~ A prenatal visit answers your questions about breastfeeding in the comfort of your own home, cozy on your own couch. Whether it's your first or fifth baby, every breastfeeding journey is different, and talking with a lactation consultant prenatally will increase confidence that you can be successful and make a special connection! (In-office prenatal consultations are FREE!)
In-home Postpartum Consultation* $180 (initial visit) ~ An in-home postpartum visit includes 1.5-2 hours of concentrated lactation support on your particular challenges and questions you might have about breastfeeding or pumping. This appointment includes a suck/latch assessment, oral/breast exam, full maternal history, a test weight to determine milk transfer, and a realistic, comprehensive care plan, made by us, together. Any client who had a prenatal visit should select this service.
In-home Postpartum Consultation* $90 (follow-up visit) ~ A follow-up consultation is recommended for most clients within 5-7 days of our initial consultation but can be scheduled anytime up until your baby's first birthday. Follow ups helps to make sure your care plan is working and to revise it if necessary. You can schedule a follow-up if you need further reassurance or have additional questions or concerns after our initial visit
In-home 'Back To Work' Consultation* $140 ~ A back to work consultation eliminates the guessing game of how often to pump and when and how to get the most milk for your time spent. We will talk about maximizing pump output, schedules, the details of where and how, milk storage, and feeding while you're away. This service does not include a breastfeeding assessment. If you have concerns directly related to breastfeeding, please schedule an initial or follow-up consultation.
Phone/Video Consultation* $50 ~ This service includes a 30-minute discussion for moms who are not local or otherwise don't feel like an in-home consultation is necessary. We will discuss any lactation questions or challenges you have.
*All consultations include 2 weeks of continued support via text, Facebook, or email. Further electronic support can be purchased. A report will be sent to the pediatrician or ob-gyn so we may collaborate together to provide the best care for mom and baby. A 'superbill' will be provided.
